Junior Tech Support with Linux

We are looking for a Junior Tech Support with Linux to join our amazing multicultural team based in Bucharest. 

Your main responsibility will be providing outstanding technical support for Cloud Platform products and solutions including Compute Engine and related services. 

As a Junior Tech Support in our team, you will: 

• Actively work and troubleshoot different cloud architectures to assist customers with solutions 
• Continuously learn and grow your cloud knowledge within a team that assists you whenever you encounter any unfamiliar territory 
• Focus on providing great technical resolution and customer experience 
• Use existing knowledge base to provide a customer facing root cause assessment 
• Provide customer facing bug progress summary using available tools and platform 

We’ll be a great match if you:  

• Are fluent in English (C1 level) 
• Have European citizenship or work permit in Romania  
• Have experience with Linux OS  
• Are familiar with web protocols (HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc) and understand networking standards  
• Have experience with databases (SQL) 
• Have the ability read and understand logs and stack traces  
• Can research using internal knowledge bases and public facing documentation (official Google docs, Stack Overflow, Google Groups, etc) 
• Are available to work in shifts (Monday to Sunday 24/7) from our office in Bucharest (Piata Victoriei) 

Desirable skills:  

• Containerization knowledge  
• Familiarity with modern API technologies
