Support Engineer – Network Operations

Your impact

  • Testing, preparation of network products, cooperation on completion of deliveries with the logistics department.
  • Post-sales support for customers – solutions of technical problems within ServiceDesk, on-site visiting, installation and implementation of network devices at the customer.
  • Preparation of laboratory tasks for training.
  • Understanding the needs of customers and ensuring them technical cooperation with the sales department, working with the Team leader of Network Operations.
  • Collaboration to improve customer service quality.
  • On call services in regular periods.
  • Preparation of HW products before customer delivery and customer post-sales support, product testing, installation and customer service, technical support of the complaint process, preparation of laboratory tasks for training, IT assistance.
  • ALEF’s Cisco asset management (DEMO).
  • IT assistance
  • Own presales and system engineering responsibilities for emerging products (ex. Flowmon, Kemp)


  • Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in any of computer science, computer systems engineering, electronic engineering, and other related disciplines.
  • Ability to work independently and teamwork
  • Knowledge of English at intermediate level
  • A technical, logical thought process
  • Problem-solving skills
  • An ability to stick to strict deadlines

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Significant industry certifications or trainings (Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Windows Server Administration, etc.) or equivalent experience.
